AlwaysMouseWheel Review
When you have multiple windows open in your Windows computer, spinning the mouse wheel is probably the simplest way to switch and scroll them. However, the issue is that this only works on the foreground window - the one where you are currently working.
AlwaysMouseWheel is a portable application that allows you to use your mouse wheel to switch and scroll any window even if it’s not the one you are currently working on. This is a surprisingly useful feature for anyone who regularly has lots of open windows at once, especially as this tool comes as a ZIP file that can be easily taken along on a USB drive.
The interface is very straight forward, with radio buttons that enable or disable the program and select whether or not it runs on startup. There are also checkboxes to enable or disable a setting that allows AlwaysMouseWheel to switch to the window under your mouse cursor and scroll it using the mouse wheel.
It also has a configuration option that lets you select whether or not AlwaysMouseWheel should bring the wheel window to the foreground first, or just forward the wheel command to scroll it. There are other features as well, such as an option to set the speed of scrolling and a mode that does a reverse scroll.
It is available as a free download for both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows. During download, your antivirus programs may scan the application for viruses.
